Monkeyboy pin-up

Here's an ink drawing I did for a Monkeyboy fan. The scan is pretty bad and It's a cropped version of the original, but I guess it's better than nothing. If anyone else would like something drawn, I'm sure we could work something out. It doesn't even have to be of Monkeyboy...Even though I love drawing the little guy. E-mail me here with questions...monkeyboycomic@hotmail.com

I like your use of Black, White and Grey. This is something I'm struggling with at the moment. My work tends to get too detailed. The result is that it looks too grey. I need to ease off on teh details a lot. How do you determine a good balance?

I guess, just make sure to leave enough white, so things pop out at the reader. In this story. I haven't got carried away shading the characters. I've just been focusing on shading the the backgrounds with grey so the characters pop off the page! I'm constantly learning new things, so sometimes I over do things as well.
