Lord Of the Rings Masterpieces!

Lord of the Rings Masterpieces card set from Topps! The set focused on the art of the Lord Of the Rings movies. They're sketch cards, so they're all hand drawn and one will come in every box of cards. So far they have been really fun to work on. I'm drawing a couple hundred, so I'll be posting them as I get them
approved. I'd like to hear what people think of these.


Below are some of my Lord of the Rings Masterpiece II sketch cards I drew for the new card set.
The first six I decided to make them sort of look like a comic page if you stuck them together. I drew my favorite seen from the movies. It's the battle between Gandalf and the Balrog.

Space Turkey

This is an illustration i did recently for a trade magazine. I used acrylic paint on bristol board. It was actually for the cover. It was pretty fun. It's not everyday you get to paint a cooked turkey floating in outerspace!

Avengers Sketch cards

They just posted some of my sketch cards on the Scifi hobby website. I drew 300 Avengers Sketch cards for the Complete Avengers trading card set. Each box will contain one hand drawn colored sketch card. For more details visit the website. It was really fun to work on this set. I also just started working on Lord of the Rings Masterpiece sketch cards as well. They just have my name up right now on the Topps website, but I'll post the cards as soon as I can.
