unused Garbage Pail kid
This is the first Garbage Pail kid I painted. It pretty much got me the job, but they didn't end up using it. They used a different artist's painting of the same character, but it was good paractice and they at least let me paint a couple for the set. I have one more painting that they bought, but didn't end up printing, so I'm going to hold off on showing it on here, but I hope you all like looking at these!

My twin brother
My twin brother has been doing special effects stuff for movies for the last couple of years. It's always cool to hear what he's working on. He's pretty much a bad ass! He's pictured in the photo to the left. He's the one in the yellow shirt . He's also in the photo to the right...He's the one with the beard.

Avangers Sketch Cards
I just started working on something cool, The Complete Avengers Trading Card set. I'm working on the sketch cards. They actually used one of my cards on the Previews' advertisement...It's the Hulk one in the left hand corner. I'm having a blast working on these and can't wait until they're released! There will be one color sketch card per box...just like the add says!

GPK Heads!
Here are a few Garbage Pail Kid heads I painted, just to practice painting. I used acrilic paint on paper. A couple are characters from the All New Series 5. The one with the hand popping out of his head was originally painted by Luis Diaz and the girl with one eyeball was originally painted by John pound, two of the best GPK artists. I just hope to come close to being as good as them someday! I was just trying to re-paint them using a similar style, because the ones I painted for this series looked a little off. The bald kid is just a generic kid...I'll definatally have to practice more. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a new set to come out and hopefully I'll be able to paint some more! Check back for updates.
Wizard of oz Sketch cards
My Wizard of Oz sketch cards are already popping up on Ebay
I don't get any of the money, but it's still cool seeing something I drew selling on Ebay.

monkeyboy page 19
It's kind of funny, but this page is one of the pages I wrote this whole Monkeyboy story around. It's atleast one of the mane plot points that I wanted to get to. I thought of it a couple of years ago when my girlfriend had a sunburn and I was pealing her back. A few of the things have been brewing up for the last couple of years and then I try to tie it together with more recent ideas. I guess there is inspiration everywhere.
